Golden Era Records is an Australian Hip Hop label founded by Hilltop Hoods based out of Adelaide. The label's first release came out in 2009 with the Hilltop Hoods debut album "State Of The Art".The relatively local distribution of their releases makes it a bit tricky to catch them and so today the early releases are offered as collector items for collector prices. Some LPs got repressed, partly on colored vinyl but still cost serious money.
This year the label participated the Australian Record Store Day (RSD). After 2015 Hilltop Hoods in collaboration with The Funkoars, A.B. Original, Briggs, Vents, K21 and Purpose releases a new version of "Golden Era Cypher" pressed on gold colored 10" vinyl.
